Linen Sarees Wholesale: frequently asked questions

What is the wholesale price of linen sarees?
Our linen sarees cost ₹570 to ₹2,400 a piece before 5% GST and shipping. Cotton linen sarees with zari borders start at ₹570, embroidered and woven cotton linen designs cost ₹799–₹1,099, pure linen and linen by linen sarees (including 140 count) ₹1,300–₹1,650, and double colour and French knot embroidered pure linen ₹2,145–₹2,400.
What is the difference between pure linen, linen by linen and cotton linen?
Pure linen is woven only from linen (flax) yarn. Linen by linen means linen yarn is used in both the warp and the weft. Cotton linen blends cotton with linen, which makes it softer, less prone to creasing and cheaper. Each product page states the exact fabric.
What does 140 count mean on a linen saree?
The count describes how fine the linen yarn is: the higher the count, the finer the yarn, and the smoother and lighter the fabric feels. 140 count linen is a fine yarn used for premium linen sarees.
Where are your linen sarees made?
Most of our linen sarees come from weavers and makers in Bihar, many of them in Bhagalpur. The hand-painted Kota linen sarees come from our Kota, Rajasthan maker.
How can I check if a linen saree is genuine?
Pure linen has a crisp, slightly stiff hand, natural slubs (small thicker spots in the yarn) and creases easily. Cotton linen feels softer and creases less. Order 1–5 samples to check the fabric in hand before a bulk order.
What is the minimum order, and can I mix designs?
The minimum order is 10 pieces. You can mix designs and colours from the same maker to make up the 10.
Do linen sarees come with a blouse piece?
Most of our linen sarees come with a 0.8 m unstitched blouse piece, either running or contrast. The product page states what is included for each design.
When are linen sarees in demand?
Linen is a summer and office-wear staple, and off-white and gold-border linen sarees are popular for Onam. We also have tricolour linen sarees for Independence Day and Republic Day orders.
How long does dispatch take, and how do I pay?
Standard stock dispatches in 4–5 days and handmade work in 5–7 days; delivery across India typically takes 12–15 days. Cash on delivery is not available: you pay online at checkout and get a GST invoice. Prices exclude 5% GST and shipping, and a GST number is optional.

How to check linen quality before a bulk order

  • Feel: pure linen is crisp and slightly stiff at first, and softens with wear; cotton linen feels softer from the start.
  • Slubs: small thicker spots in the yarn are natural in linen and a sign of real linen yarn.
  • Creasing: pure linen creases easily; that is normal and part of its look.
  • Fabric line: each product page states pure linen, linen by linen or cotton linen. Use the same wording when you resell.
  • Samples: order 1–5 linen saree samples to compare fabrics in hand.

Who buys linen sarees wholesale?

  • Boutiques and saree shops building summer and office-wear ranges.
  • Resellers and online sellers who want a premium-looking saree at a mid price.
  • Corporate and event buyers ordering matched sarees for teams, functions and festivals such as Onam or Independence Day.
  • Gifting buyers: one of our buyers ordered 10 French knot pure linen sarees for a function.

How to order linen sarees wholesale

  1. Shortlist designs on this page; filter by price, colour, fabric or pattern.
  2. Check a sample if a design is new to you: 1–5 pieces from the linen saree samples section, at a higher price than wholesale.
  3. Add the minimum quantity: 10 pieces from the same maker; mix designs and colours as you like.
  4. Pay online at checkout (no cash on delivery). A GST number is optional, and every order comes with a GST invoice.
  5. Dispatch and delivery: 4–5 days to dispatch standard stock, 5–7 days for handmade work; delivery across India typically takes 12–15 days.
  6. On delivery: record an unboxing video and report any issue within 48 hours.
