Kota Doria, also called Kota Masuria, is a light, sheer saree fabric woven in Kaithoon and the villages around Kota in Rajasthan. Its signature is the khat: a small square check made by weaving groups of cotton and silk threads in both directions, which keeps the fabric airy without losing its shape. Which Kota Doria sarees should you stock?

• Daily-wear and office ranges: plain Kota cotton and pure cotton sarees (₹360–₹890) and block prints (₹510–₹1,045). They are light, easy to price and suit hot weather.
• Boutiques that customise: plain Kota Doria sarees are a blank base for hand-painting, dyeing, block printing and embroidery.

• Order a sample: 1–5 pieces let you check the weave in hand before you commit.

2. Order samples if a design is new to you: 1–5 pieces from the Kota Doria sample collection, at a higher price than wholesale.
3. Add 10 or more pieces from the same maker. Mix designs and colours as you like.
4. Pay online at checkout (no cash on delivery). A GST number is optional, and every order comes with a GST invoice.
5. Dispatch and delivery: 4–5 days to dispatch standard stock, 5–7 days for handmade work; delivery typically takes 12–15 days.
6. On delivery: record an unboxing video and report any issue within 48 hours.
